North Country Proudly Honors

NORTH COUNTRY PROUDLY HONORS INC. is a not-for-profit organization established to honor our local military veterans, current service personnel, and historical wartime figures, with the placement of banners along our main streets. These banners will include a photograph of the person, their name, the branch of service, and time period in which they served only. Additional narrative will be submitted for the Yearbook. It is our goal to honor our loved ones, promote civic pride in our community, and remind future generations of the sacrifices made for them by others. Each individual banner will be unique and honor a specific Veteran/Military Member who has served or is currently serving our country. The banners will feature the name of the service person, their brand of service and a photo of the veteran or service member. The banner will be the same design on both sides. The banners will be displayed proudly on the streets of Boonville, NY, from Memorial Day to Veterans Day. All banners will be placed randomly. We cannot accommodate placement requests at this time. Banner placements are limited to 41 – first come first serve basis. Any applicants past the 41 will be placed on a waiting list for the next year.

The cost of the banner is $150

For your financial support, you will receive the following:

• Production of a 24” x 48” double-sided custom vinyl banner.
• An invitation to a banner reception at the VFW in Boonville (to be announced), where we will be displaying all the banners before they are hung.
• An 8 x 10, picture of your banner. Your original picture will be returned at this time.
• A copy of the Banner Yearbook for the year 2024 with narratives of all banner recipients.

We will also set up a time to pick up your banner at the end of the season at the American Legion in Boonville, NY.
